At times, our Microsoft Edge browser can slow way down or even freeze. Fortunately, it can be repaired.

To Repair Microsoft Edge in Windows 10:

1- Open settings by pressing the Windows and the ” i “key. Then click Apps in the home menu

2-Look for Microsoft Edge in the App & Features section

First, set up the Icons on your taskbar ( bottom of your screen) from left to right…left, being the app you would use the most. For instance , you might have Google Chrome first and Word, second. In Win 10 you can just drag the desktop icon to the taskbar.

Next, hold down the Windows key and press the number 1. Google Chrome will pop up. Press the windows key and number 2. Word will pop up and so on.

Create a Restore Point first

• Type in search bar something like Restore or Create a Restore Point
• Then click on the popup on the left “ Create a Restore Point”
• Under protection settings, make sure Restore says “ On”. If not, turn it on by clicking Configure
• Click Create and name it something like “computer tweak”
• Click ‘OK” to close
